    New Interstate Pro ECL Batteries

I see that Interstate came out with a new battery this year. This new line is suppose to boast 50% more deep cycles than any other acid deep cycle battery. The Pro ECL Series cycling performance approaches that of a glass-mat (AGM) batteries, but at a fraction of the cost of an AGM.

Has anyone purchased these and tried them yet? What was the cost?

Yea I seen that too. I am curious on the cost compared to an AGM and what their previous Deep Cycle SRM batteries were in cost.

I am not sure Nightmare... I went to their site and for the ECL they do not list a amp/hour rating as they do on the regular deep cycles and optima AGM batteries.

Here is a link to the Pro ECL stats. It shows both the normal Deep Cycle and the Pro ECL.

Amp hr rating is 210 same as a standard interstate but from what I understand the battery will just last longer in its service life not run time.

Here are mine just setting in the trays, waiting for my cable to come in to send the power to the bow.

The jumper wire is just one I had laying around I will make the correct length one soon.

Also, it still looks pretty muddy AFTER I spent 12 dollars at a car wash LOL

I called my Interstate guy down in peekskill. He verified that the capacitys are the same just due to construction they last longer and will stand up to more cycles.
The price isn't much more then the std but he didn't have them yet. My optimas need replacing next year and Im thinking of giving them a try.

Just wondered for comparison purposes on run time. Still don't sound bad $ if they life 50% longer with comparable run time.

I just noticed the warranty is 18 months on the pro compared to the 12 month warranty on the standards.
